Donald Trump Leads Sunday at the Masters

Donald Trump heads into Masters Sunday with the 54-hole lead. When asked about his game-plan for today’s round, Trump replied, “Look, I’ve already got the lead. I don’t see why we even have to play today, really. I’m doing so well. Check all the scorecards. Nobody has scored as well as me. I want them to just give me the green jacket right now, honestly.”

The late bloomer and first-year pro has turned heads this week with his unorthodox game. Trump’s decision to play exclusively with the driver has worked remarkably well for him, but Ted Cruz, the only player within five strokes of Trump, believes Trump’s good play will wear out. Said Cruz, “You can’t go out there and only use the driver and expect to win. Eventually, the Donald is going to have some misses, and I’m going to take advantage of that. I’m the only one who can beat Trump outright, and I’m going to do it.”

The rest of the field is far behind the two front-runners, but that doesn’t stop them from believing they will be able to pull out a victory. Here’s veteran John Kasich, who did not make the 36-hole cut, “Technically, I can’t win here because I didn’t make the cut, but that won’t stop me. I’m going to keep heading out there and playing my game, and I’m going to force a playoff.”

Its going to be quite a finish at Augusta.
